Fair Use
Topics for discussion:
1. "Intent of the user - how they plan to use the work - matters to the court."
Regardles of intention if you copied you copied. It's fine if you do just don't call it by another name.
2. As artists it is definetly good for us to know and understand fair use and appropriation. Just to save our own butts.
3. In the end it is nearly impossible to claim one of your ideas as truly original. We have all been influenced and in someways someone else may reflect in your own work. You can not always give yourself all the credit. In the past people were praised for stealing ideas. Think of how many bible stories have been painted over and over again, like the last supper and the statues of David

oh TED
I was not that impressed with this website at first. I started looking at all the subcategories and found some topics I actually was interested in looking into. I know we probably should have looked for videos more related to computers but I was more interested in a video of Imogen Heap playing a new song. It's really nice. Here is the link if anyone else is curious: "Wait it out" Imogen Heap
Adobe
Hand Experiment:
Well first off its just an image of a hand. You can use this tool to grab and move the page around the screen. It's pretty basic there isn't much explain to be done. There is another option though.
Print Tiling:
This tool is here in case the actual size your printing is bigger than the what you are printing on. You can use the print tiling on your art board and it makes multiple art board but they are joined as one. The only difference is when you print you will be printing in sections. :]
